Suzanne Wiltgen earned her MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2008, with the presentation of “Cast of Dancing Delights” at the Southern Theater. Suzanne moved to New York in 2009 with her husband, jazz trumpeter and composer Kelly Rossum, relocated to Anniston, AL in 2009 where Kelly was a professor in the jazz department at Jacksonville State University, and is now in Newport News, VA.
In 1999, Suzanne graduated from Mount Holyoke College magna cum laude with a degree in dance and a fellowship from the Henry Luce Foundation. Through the generous support from that fellowship, Suzanne lived in Korea and studied with Sin Cha Hong and Laughing Stone Dance Theatre, and then in Malaysia where she taught and performed under Mew Chang Tsing of RiverGrass Dance Theater. She moved to the Twin Cities in 2000, met Jamey and Brinsley, and the rest is Three Dances’ history–which is now a lot more geographic.
